The WICT Newtork: SoCal Mentorship Program is designed to support members at pivotal moments in their careers whether entering the industry, advancing within it, or navigating a pivot.  Our 2026 program kicks off this July and reflects the way careers are built today.

We are evolving beyond a traditional one-to-one mentorship model into a modern, cohort-based experience that blends mentorship, community, and real-time learning and development.

At its core, this program is about connection, growth, and empowerment.

 

The Experience:

Our Mentorship Program brings together emerging and established leaders through a thoughtfully designed experience that includes:

​

• Cohort-based learning and connection

• Virtual office hours and skill-building sessions

• Career-focused workshops and conversations

• Speed mentoring and meaningful networking opportunities

• In-person experiences including Career Day and our closing celebration​

Throughout the program, participants gain access to insights, tools, and relationships that support real career growth and forward momentum.

Learning & Development:

 

We believe mentorship goes beyond conversation. It is about giving people the tools to move forward with clarity and confidence.

These sessions will include elements inspired by the program’s Co-Chairs, Candice Maskell and Sarah Pilla. Candice, a leadership coach and strategist with deep roots in entertainment and tech PR/marketing, will guide participants through elements of her Power Your Pivot framework focused on alignment, confidence, and career growth. Sarah, an Emmy Award-winning meteorologist, brings firsthand experience navigating career evolution in high-pressure industries. Together, they will support participants in recognizing their value, expanding their perspective, and taking aligned action toward what’s next.
